Overview:                  Oregonsportscores.org is Oregon’s most complete sites committed to providing positive recognition for High School athletes.  It is an easy to use website for students, parents and fans to find scores, standings, directions and personal stats for any high school or high school player in Oregon.  During its first four quarters of operation it has gained a reputation as the most complete and up to date high school sports site in the state.  Our idea has caught the interest of Oregonians attracting over 45,000 page visitors a month and over 500 emails this spring alone thanking us for providing the information.   

 

Ideal Demographic:  Oregonsportscores.org is at the cutting edge of the newest form of communication with a prime demographic; teens 14 – 19, and “baby boom” households with children 14-20.  With over 50% of Oregonians connected to the internet with high speed connections consumers are looking to the web for up to the moment information about their favorite activity and we are providing it.  In addition, more people are letting their mouse do the walking before they venture out to the real world to purchase.  These consumers will visit online sights to help make purchasing decisions.

Statewide Coverage:  Oregonsportscores.org serves 138 high schools in 17 leagues throughout the state of Oregon.  Consistently our top ten visited pages are league scores and standings pages representing schools from the five largest Metropolitan Areas; Portland Metro Area, Salem/Willamette Valley, Eugene/Springfield Metro Area, Medford/Ashland Metro Area, and the Bend/Redmond Area. In addition; Oregonsportscores.org covers the smaller communities surrounding these metropolitan areas including the Oregon Coast from Astoria to Brookings Harbor, the Southern Boarder communities, and Eastern Oregon Communities of La Grande, Ontario, Pendleton, and Baker.  Oregonsportscores.org covers the entire I-5 corridor from Ashland – Vancouver including the Willamette Valley cities of Corvallis, Lebanon, Albany, Woodburn, Wilsonville, Tualatin, Tigard and Portland.

Presenting Sponsor - receive their ad prominently displayed on the top of every page on oregonsportscores.org.  Participate in additional promotional programs to maximize the community service and advertising value of their sponsorship.

League Sponsor - receives on displayed on the scores and standings pages of a particular league for one academic year, August 15 - July 15

swimming page, wrestling page, tennis page, golf page, equestrian page, cheerleading page, cross country page, for a minimum of 300 pages (395 in 2003).

o       Ads need to conform to website standard of 72 dsi per inch and for best results should come sized to fit in respective ad (see above for size).
